Sexuality Education for People of ALL abilities

All people deserve access to complete and accurate information about sexual health and relationships.

Comprehensive sexuality education serves several purposes:

  • Provides vital reproductive health information

  • Promotes safety by teaching about boundaries and consent

  • Prevents inappropriate behaviors

  • Validates personal identity and expression

  • Creates connection and community

  • Honors a fundamental part of the human experience

Content:

I use the Elevatus curriculum (see their website) as the foundation of the course, but each class will be customized to the students particpating - how they communicate, their learning needs, and how the material may apply to their current experiences and hopes for the future. Students 16 years and up are welcome!

When:

Content will be broken into 3-sessions of 6-8 classes so that students can attend the sessions and classes that are most relevant to them and learn at their own pace. All classes are conducted on Tuesday evenings, 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Cost:

8-week Sessions: $400

6-week Sessions: $300

Invoices will be sent monthly.

Session 1: February 3rd - March 24th (8 classes)

Topics: gender identity & expression, body parts, health and hygiene, public and private behaviors, communication

Session 2: April 14th - May 19th (6 classes)

Topics: different types of relationships, creating and maintaining a relationship, signs of a bad relationship

Session 3: June 9th - July 28 (8 classes)

Topics: sexual feelings, communicating and decision making around sex, pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections & sexual health
